Frozen Yogurt Bark
This little snack makes for the best summer treat! I always love having something in the freezer to grab when I want something sweet and this is one of my favorites! Frozen Yogurt Bark is not only the easiest recipe ever, it can be switched up so many different ways! For example, the toppings are endless. I can guarantee this is something that the whole family will love too.
There’s something about this that reminds me of summer! I’m always craving different things depending on the temperature and I love something refreshing during the warmer months. This is not only refreshing, but it is a light snack that won’t have you feeling run down after. Using greek yogurt also adds protein into this snack, which makes it even better to grab when you want a treat.
I love finding snacks or treats that still taste good (of course!) but still satisfy you nutritionally. Finding snacks that are packed with protein will guarantee that you are satisfied after.
Here’s what you need:
- Greek Yogurt
- Vanilla Extract
- Honey
- Optional toppings!
Here are some ideas for toppings if you’re stuck on what to do!
- Fresh fruit
- Slivered nuts
- Shredded Coconut
- Nut butter swirl
- Chocolate Chips
- Dark chocolate slivers
- Lemon or lime zest
- Crushed graham crackers
- Sprinkles
How to make Frozen Yogurt Bark:
- Start by combining yogurt, honey and vanilla extract into a bowl.
- You’ll want to use parchment paper on a baking sheet in order to make sure the yogurt doesn’t stick to the pan!
- Pour yogurt on baking sheet evenly. Make sure it isn’t too thin!
- Add toppings! If you’re using fresh fruit, make sure it goes into the yogurt or else it won’t stay once frozen!
- Place in the freezer for 2+ hrs.
- Break into bark!
How long does Frozen Yogurt Bark last in the freezer?
You can keep this in the freezer for the week…if it lasts that long 😉 Just be sure to keep it stored in a container.
Can you use any yogurt?
You can use regular yogurt or greek yogurt. I’ve also tried it with different flavored yogurts to switch it up too! The two yogurts that I like to use in this recipe is Fage Plain Greek Yogurt or Siggi’s Vanilla Yogurt.
What do you store this in?
I recommend storing your bark in a Stasher Bag or ZipTop bag. This will keep them safe in the freezer!
Do I need to put this on parchment paper?
Yes! When you mix up the yogurt with honey and vanilla, you want to pour it on parchment paper. That way, you can prevent it sticking to any surfaces and you can easily break apart after it has frozen. Once you break it apart into “bark,” you can store it in a container in the freezer.
Where do I store this?
Make sure to keep it in the freezer! It tends to melt quickly 🙂
