When you’re still in the mood for a smoothie but the weather is starting to get cool out, this pumpkin smoothie is for you. Smoothies are something that I crave year around so I love to put a twist on them when I can! I guarantee this smoothie will not only hit all your cravings for pumpkin, but it will keep you feeling full and satisfied for hours.
Healthy Pumpkin Smoothie
Ingredients you need to make this healthy pumpkin smoothie:
- Frozen banana
- Almond milk
- Frozen cauliflower rice
- Pumpkin puree
- Ground flaxseed
- Nut butter (I used peanut butter!)
- Vanilla protein powder
- Pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg
What I like to incorporate in my smoothies: following this will leave you feeling satisfied after each one!
- Protein (protein powder!)
- Fat: nut butter, avocado, etc.
- Fiber: ground flaxseed
Can I leave out the cauliflower rice?
Yes! If you want to leave out the cauliflower rice in this recipe, you can. I’d would suggest adding in more ice so it will thicken up when you blend.
My favorite smoothie storage:
Stasher bags: if you want to prep some of the ingredients for the week, use these stasher bags to store some of the ingredients.
Porter cups: I love these for on the go or just keeping your smoothie cold while at home
