Ground Turkey Gnocchi Skillet

I love a one pan meal for an easy weeknight dinner and this Ground Turkey Gnocchi Skillet is a new favorite around here. It’s made with a few simple ingredients and also great for a cozy meal during the week.

I’m always looking for easy recipes to make for a quick and easy dinner. That’s where this One Pan Ground Turkey Gnocchi Skillet comes in. This takes less than 20 minutes to make and you’ll have a meal ready that everyone will enjoy. Plus, it’s so cozy for these chilly evenings!!

I love this recipe because it’s also super versatile. If you want to use ground chicken or ground beef, it can easily be switched! If you want to add some veggies, try spinach or chopped zucchini. Or if you don’t love ricotta, try using shredded parmesan!

What you need for Ground Turkey Gnocchi Skillet:

  • Ground Turkey
  • Gnocchi
  • Yellow onion
  • Garlic cloves
  • Marinara Sauce
  • Chicken Broth
  • Ricotta Cheesses
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Black Pepper

How to make this skillet:

  1. In a heated pan, add olive oil. Add in minced garlic and yellow onion to sauté.
  2. Add in ground turkey to brown. Mix in seasonings.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and marinara sauce. Mix to combine with ground turkey.
  4. Add in gnocchi. Bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Reduce to a simmer and place the lid on the pan for 7-9 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid and top with dollops of ricotta cheese. Place lid back on to let it sit for 2 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the stove.
  8. Top with red pepper flakes.
  9. Enjoy!!

How to store your leftover skillet:

It’s best to store any leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge. I like using these for easy fridge storage!

If you want to switch it up, try doing this instead:

  • Add veggies or fresh spinach to it!
  • Instead of using ricotta, try using shredded parmesan cheese
  • Use your favorite sauce instead of marinara
  • Switch it up with ground chicken or ground beef

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 pkg (16oz) gnocchi
  • 5 tbsp ricotta cheese
  • 2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • dash of black pepper
  • optional: red pepper flakes
