If you’ve been here a while, you know we love a good tuna or chicken salad over here. I love finding new ways to switch up flavors and combinations too. This Lemon Dill Tuna Salad is a classic! The flavors of lemon and dill make it light while still packing in a lot of flavor too! Not only is this great to meal prep for the week but there are so many ways to switch it up too! You can top it on sourdough, add it to some greens or serve in a wrap for an easy lunch.

What you need for Lemon Dill Tuna Salad:

  • Canned Tuna
  • Fresh dill
  • Lemon
  • Lemon zest
  • Celery
  • Red onion
  • Avocado Oil Mayo
  • Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Sea Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Black Pepper

How to make this salad:

  1. In a bowl, add tuna, red onion, celery and fresh dill. Set aside.
  2. Using a small bowl, mix together the dressing ingredients: mayo, plain greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, lemon, lemon zest, sea salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Combine the tuna salad with the dressing and mix to combine.
  4. Serve on sourdough, in a wrap or however you like!
  5. Enjoy!

How to store your salad for the week:

It’s best to store your tuna salad in a sealed container in the fridge. I like using these for easy fridge storage. These are great for on the go or work lunch prep!

If you want to switch this up, try doing this instead:

  • Finely chop up more veggies to add to your tuna salad.
  • Switch up how you serve it on toast, in a wrap or on greens.
  • Try it with canned chicken or salmon.

This tuna salad will last up to 4 days in the fridge! It is great to meal prep since it can keep in the fridge for a few days.

Can I use chicken instead?

While I haven’t tried this one with shredded chicken, many of the salads on One Balanced Life can be switched up between chicken and tuna. Try it out and let me know what you think!

This Lemon Dill Tuna Salad is perfect to meal prep for the week for a quick and easy lunch! Made with simple ingredients and a light salad filled with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp fresh dill, finely chipped
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp avocado oil mayo
  • 2 tbsp plain greek yogurt
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
