This time of year calls for all of the Brussels sprouts recipes and I couldn’t love these Holiday Brussels Sprouts more! It’s an easy and delicious recipe to add to your holiday menu and I can promise the whole family will love. These holiday Brussels sprouts are also the perfect mix of sweet and savory.

Holiday Brussels sprouts:
What you need:
- Brussels Sprouts
- Maple Syrup
- Bacon
- Dates
- Chopped pecans
- Garlic clove, minced
- Sea salt
- Avocado oil

How to make Holiday Brussels sprouts:
- Start by chopping all Brussels sprouts in half.
- In cast iron skillet, add avocado oil and minced garlic. Place Brussels sprouts in the skillet to saute for 8-10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place brussels in the oven in cast iron skillet for 10-12 minutes. Flipping around half way through.
- Once finished in the oven, place on low heat on the stove and add maple syrup, pecans and chopped dates. Stir to mix together.
How do you cut the Brussels sprouts?
Be sure to wash the Brussels sprouts before cutting them up! Once you have washed them, cut the bottoms off and then cut the Brussels sprouts in half. Do this to all of them.
What if I don’t have a cast iron skillet?
I love using a Cast Iron Skillet for this recipe! If you have another dish that will transfer from stovetop to oven, you can use that instead! Be sure to check that it can be transferred.

Holiday Brussels sprouts

Ingredients
- 3 1/3 cup chopped brussels sprouts
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup crumbled bacon
- 1 cup chopped & pitted dates
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Chop up brussels sprouts in half. In cast iron skillet, add avocado oil and minced garlic.
- Add chopped brussels and saute for 7-9 minutes. Brussels will be lightly browned
- Place cast iron skillet in the oven for 10-12 minutes (flipping half way through)
- Place back on stove on low heat and add maple syrup, chopped dates, crumbled bacon and pecans. Stir to mix.
- Serve & enjoy!
