Buffalo Cauliflower

Super Bowl is right around the corner which means it’s time for all the best snacks! This Buffalo Cauliflower will quickly become a crowd favorite. It’s made with simple ingredients and so delicious for easy snacking!

Buffalo Cauliflower

I’ve been making this Buffalo Cauliflower for years and it’s still one of my favorite snacks! It was one of my very first popular recipes on One Balanced Life! Since then, I’ve made a few changes to the recipe but nonetheless this one is still so delicious. Plus, it’s perfect for a gameday snack, easy appetizer or snacking. I also love to put it on salads or serve up on tostadas to switch it up.

I like to cook mine in the air fryer because I think it gets extra crispy but this can also be baked in the oven. If you need a reason to get an air fryer, let this be it!

This buffalo cauliflower is gluten free and dairy free too.

What you need for Buffalo Cauliflower:

  • Head of Cauliflower
  • Almond Flour
  • Rice Crumbs
  • Eggs
  • Buffalo Sauce
  • Garlic Powder
  • Sea Salt
  • Onion Powder
  • Black Pepper
  • Ranch Dressing

How to make this cauliflower:

Start by cutting your cauliflower into pieces. You don’t want these to be too big.

Make one bowl with whisked egg and another with almond flour, rice crumbs and seasonings mixed in.

Dip a cauliflower piece into the egg and then roll into the flour/crumb mixture. Do this until you’ve gone through all cauliflower.

Place in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Flipping half way through.

Remove from the air fryer and toss with buffalo sauce.

Place back in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 4-5 minutes.

Serve with ranch dressing and green onion on top if you like!!

Enjoy!

How to store your leftovers:

It’s best to store any leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge. I like using these for easy storage!

If you want to switch it up, try doing this instead:

Use your favorite buffalo sauce!

Try baking it instead of using the air fryer.

Try dipping it in your favorite ranch or blue cheese dressing.

  1. Shoot, all I have right now is coconut flour, I wonder if that would work as a sub for the almond flour? Kinda new to whole 30 cooking 😅

  2. I just finished making this recipe. I used coconut flour instead of almond. It turned out really nice! It is quite spicy haha, but a good flavor overall. I will make this again!!!

    1. Great to hear that it works well with coconut flour! It is a tad spicy!! haha I would recommend getting a mild buffalo sauce to use next time, I’ve found that’s less intense than using Franks!
