Protein Snack Bites

I love having a quick snack on hand for the busy weeks and these Protein Snack Bites are the easiest! Made with a few simple ingredients and many that you may already have in your pantry!

I’m always looking for quick and easy snacks to have readily available during the week and especially those that are packed with protein. The protein snacks are best to staying fuller longer and keeping you satisfied. It can be difficult to meet your protein goals, but with quick snacks like this around, you’ll get there!

The best part about these Protein Snack Bites are there are so many ways to switch them up! Once you have the base ingredients of the rolled oats, protein powder, nut butter and honey, then you can switch things around to your preference!

This recipe is for my go-to version but I’m also sharing the Trail Mix version below if you want to switch it up with those ingredients!

What you need for Protein Snack Bites:

  • Rolled Oats
  • Protein Powder
  • Peanut Butter or Almond Butter
  • Honey
  • Chia Seeds
  • Ground Flaxseeds
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Cinnamon
  • Sea Salt

How to make these bites:

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
  2. Mix together to combine.
  3. Place mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes or so.
  4. Roll into bites and store.
  5. Enjoy!

How to store your snack bites:

Its best to store your snack bites in a sealed container in the fridge. I like these! You can also store your bites in the freezer to last longer. These reusable bags are great to use to store in the freezer.

If you want to switch these up, try doing this instead:

  • For the trail mix version, add everything but switch the chocolate chips for ⅓ cup chocolate candies and add ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • For a nut free version, use sunbutter
  • For a chocolate version, use chocolate protein powder
  • For a fruity version, switch the chocolate chips for ⅓ cup unsweetened dried cranberries

These Protein Snack Bites are perfect to meal prep at the beginning of the week and snack on all week long! So many ways to switch them up too.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
