What you need for Birthday Cake Protein Bars:

  • Almond Flour
  • Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Cashew Butter
  • Maple Syrup
  • Sprinkles
  • Vanilla extract
  • Sea salt
  • Cinnamon

How to make these bars:

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix together to combine.
  2. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  3. Place birthday cake mixture in the loaf pan and press down firmly. Top with more sprinkles!
  4. Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours before cutting into.
  5. Enjoy!

How to store your protein bars:

It’s best to keep your protein bars stored in the freezer in a sealed container. I like using these reusable bags which are great to keep in the freezer or fridge!

If you want to switch these up, try doing this instead:

  • Use any nut butter or sunflower butter!
  • Try your favorite vanilla protein powder
  • Place these in an 8×8 dish to get a different size bar!

How long will these last?

I think these are best to keep stored in the freezer which means they will last longer too! You can keep them stored in a sealed container in the freezer for up to three months.

Do I have to use cashew butter?

While I think that cashew butter adds the best flavor of “birthday cake”, you can also switch these up with peanut butter or almond butter.

What protein powder do you use?

I used this vanilla protein powder!
