Birthday Cake Protein Bars
If you want an easy snack to have prepped and ready, these Birthday Cake Protein Bars will quickly become a favorite! Made with simple ingredients but packed with all the flavors of birthday cake in a small bar. Perfect to keep in the freezer for a quick snack or treat!
Anyone else love having a snack that also subs as a sweet treat around the house when the craving hits!? That’s one reason why I love making protein bars like this! Not only are they so easy to just keep in the freezer to grab from throughout the week, but they are so simple to make too! I love the birthday cake flavors. They always hit the spot for a sweet treat too!
These protein bars are made with simple ingredients, take ten minutes to make and are perfect to meal prep for the week.
What you need for Birthday Cake Protein Bars:
- Almond Flour
- Vanilla Protein Powder
- Cashew Butter
- Maple Syrup
- Sprinkles
- Vanilla extract
- Sea salt
- Cinnamon
How to make these bars:
- In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix together to combine.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Place birthday cake mixture in the loaf pan and press down firmly. Top with more sprinkles!
- Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours before cutting into.
- Enjoy!
How to store your protein bars:
It’s best to keep your protein bars stored in the freezer in a sealed container. I like using these reusable bags which are great to keep in the freezer or fridge!
If you want to switch these up, try doing this instead:
- Use any nut butter or sunflower butter!
- Try your favorite vanilla protein powder
- Place these in an 8×8 dish to get a different size bar!

How long will these last?
I think these are best to keep stored in the freezer which means they will last longer too! You can keep them stored in a sealed container in the freezer for up to three months.
Do I have to use cashew butter?
While I think that cashew butter adds the best flavor of “birthday cake”, you can also switch these up with peanut butter or almond butter.

- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup creamy cashew butter
- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- sprinkles
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a bowl.
- Mix together to combine.
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Press birthday cake bars firmly down in dish.
- Place in the freezer for 3-4 hrs before cutting.

Use as many sprinkles as you'd like --I didn't measure 🙂
