Loaded butternut naan flatbread

Fall on a naan pizza! Count me in! I can’t get enough of the butternut and brussels this time of year. I always love naan pizzas, so I decided to make a little fall inspired one with these. This is super easy to make and the perfect mix of savory with a tad bit of sweet.

Loaded Butternut Naan Flatbread Pizza

What you need to make this Naan:

  • Naan Flatbread
  • Shredded Brussels Sprouts
  • Cubed Butternut Squash
  • Bacon
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • Sea salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Maple syrup

Fall flatbread

Ingredients

  • 1 Naan Flatbread
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese (option to add more)
  • 1 cup cubed cooked butternut squash
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded brussels sprouts (you can get these pre shredded or shred them in a food processor)
  • 1/2 cup bacon pieces
  • 1/2 cup red onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Cook bacon according to package.
  3. Place cubed butternut squash on a baking sheet with a little extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and pepper. Bake for 25 minutes (flipping half way through)
  4. Once butternut squash is done, add 1 cup to food processor with 2 tvsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Mix thoroughly. Set aside
  5. Saute onion and minced garlic. Add shredded brussels sprouts, add in maple syrup, sea salt, pepper, garlic powder. Add in bacon pieces last.
  6. Layer naan with butternut squash spread, mozzarella cheese, and sauteed mix of brussels sprouts and bacon.
  7. Place in the oven at 400 to bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Enjoy!
