My experience using The Tasty One Top

I’m so excited to share The Tasty One Top from Cuisinart with you guys! This new tool was so fun to work with and it made my life a little easier then actually cooking on the stovetop—while producing the same results! The Tasty One Top combines induction cooking with precision temperature control, making it easy to cook all your favorite recipes with one compact appliance. What’s cool is that you can download The One Top app, and The One Top will automatically adjust its temperature and power settings to precisely match the recipe instructions. That’s exactly what I did when making the Shrimp Scampi which I found in the Seafood section of the The One Top App. They have a bunch of different recipes to choose from in the app ranging from Steak, Meat, Eggs, Seafood, Veggies, Sides, Dessert, Grains & Sauces.

You may be asking what is induction cooking? Induction cooking uses electromagnetic fields to heat the pot or pan directly-not the cooktop. Elements beneath the cooking surface produce a magnetic field that causes cookware made of ferrous metals to produce heat.

It’s important to also choose the correct cookware when cooking with The Tasty One Top. Cookware should be made of cast iron, iron, steel, stainless steel, enameled steel, enameled iron or cookware with a steel induction base. I used the Cuisinart’s 12” Everyday Pan to cook the Shrimp Scampi and it was perfect for The Tasty One Top. It fit it perfectly and allowed the whole dish to heat up.

Overall, using The One Top app was a very interactive experience while cooking with The Tasty One Top. It was super easy to follow and the recipe for the Shrimp Scampi came together in no time! I can’t wait to experiment with other recipes that are included in the app as well as create my own using the cooktop! They are currently running a special for $99+ free shipping on The Tasty One Top! (originally is $179!) and you can check that out here!

Talk soon, Taylor.
